Real Time Address Validation Engine 911

Accurate and unambiguous civic addresses or locations for any subscriber – whether Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), wireless, or landline – are essential to Enhanced 9-1-1 systems. Currently, Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) validate civic addresses using a locally managed dataset known as a Master Street Address Guide (MSAG).

TCS offers RAVE911™ (Real Time Address Validation Engine 911) to unify nationwide MSAG data, providing VoIP, cable, and landline carriers with inexpensive, real-time, automatic, and highly accurate validation.

The RAVE911 system uses an innovative method incorporating three techniques to attain, match, and validate data.

• Automatic validation – Civic addresses are automatically validated with the MSAG data contained in the TCS Validation Database
• Semi-Automatic validation - The RAVE911 system returns MSAG - compliant alternatives for records that cannot be automatically matched; an analysis and comparison verifies the alternatives to ensure validation.
• Positive Address Selection System (PASS) assisted validation – A small percentage of records cannot be processed using automatic or semi-automatic validation techniques. Using TCS' state-of-the-art Web-based tools, analysts can match civic addresses to the corresponding MSAG in an efficient, cost effective, and managed environment. 

The RAVE911 system is scalable, provides accurate real-time responses, increases order velocity by an order of magnitude, and is operationally inexpensive. This system assures VoIP Service Providers, Cable Multiple System Operators, and broadband providers that civic addresses or E9-1-1 MSAG data and routing Emergency Service Numbers are available and ready to deploy when subscribers join their networks.
