TCS' Enhanced 9-1-1 solutions enable Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) providers to supply the same level of emergency services as wireless and traditional landline providers. TCS is committed to helping wireless carriers meet their obligations for wireless E9-1-1 and meet accessibility guidelines under Section 255 of the Telecommunications Act. TCS also is committed to meeting the FCC's 2005 mandate requiring VoIP service providers to supply E9-1-1 service to their subscribers. 

NG9-1-1 (Next Generation 9-1-1) enables PSAP’s to receive text, data, images, and video transmissions in addition to voice. This capability, which E9-1-1’s telephone-based technology cannot provide, aligns emergency response with the realities of a technically advancing public.

In addition to using a network-based solution to provide rapid address validation for all subscribers, dispatchers and first responders can receive location enhanced objects that supply critical information, such as medical data and velocity of a vehicle.

RAVE911™ (Real-Time Address Validation Engine 911) unifies nationwide MSAG data, providing VoIP, cable, and landline carriers with inexpensive, real-time, automatic, and highly accurate validation. The RAVE911 system uses an innovative method incorporating three techniques to attain, match, and validate data.

LivewirE911™ is an alternative method to provide reliable emergency services to VoIP subscribers.  LivewirE911 is a call routing engine that allows VoIP service providers to rapidly and efficiently route VoIP calls to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) using location records provisioned in GALILEO™, the TCS dynamic Automatic Location Identification (ALI) database; sent directly to LivewirE911 at the time of the call by the subscriber’s phone (Location Object); or using location records provisioned in the regional ALI database.

TCS Skyhook Wireless Solution integrates TCS' VoIP E9-1-1 routing and automatic location delivery capabilities with the Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS) from Skyhook Wireless to pinpoint the VoIP user’s actual location at the time of the E9-1-1 call.

TCS VoIP Verify® E9-1-1 Service provides a comprehensive public safety solution that benefits both digital Voice Service Providers (VSPs) and their subscribers. TCS VoIP Verify enables VSPs to determine the availability and extent of E9-1-1 service coverage to their subscriber base. Using TCS VoIP Verify, the VSP is able to develop custom dialing plans which allow subscribers to obtain real-time PSAP service status.
