(Global ALI with Location Enhanced Objects)

GALILEO™ delivers the expanded functionality of the future. GALILEO is an IP-based data warehouse where all information relevant to E9-1-1 dispatchers and first responders can reside or pass through. Unlike legacy ALI databases that limit data in the ALI display to 512 characters, the next generation will function as an expanded information source and a portal for information held in other databases.

GALILEO interfaces with legacy ALI platforms, updates routing tables on selective routers and provides dynamic data updates. PSAPs that are equipped with IP-enabled equipment can still acquire the standard information they are accustomed to seeing, like MSAG valid addresses and call-back numbers. In the event an MSAG is not available, GALILEO delivers a civic address to the PSAP.

Most VoIP E9-1-1 providers rely on database solutions that address only static users and can take up to 48 hours to validate. TCS uses a network-based solution that provides rapid address validation for all subscribers—whether they are static, nomadic (alternating between several locations), or constantly mobile.
