TCS’ MVP platform integrates enterprise content generated via email, Web pages or Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and features capabilities where enterprises now have a simple pager replacement option.  In response to the carrier’s need to ensure network capacity is not compromised and to protect the SMSC, smsExpress MVP employs a number of throttling mechanisms. In addition to protecting the SMSC, these throttling mechanisms also help the wireless carrier to enforce enterprise Service Level Agreements (SLA).  These throttling mechanisms include Outbound for each enterprise, which limits the messages per second that each enterprise can deliver through the network; Outbound aggregate to each message center link and Outbound aggregate for all links between the platform and message centers.

This platform creates new sources of revenue by enabling carriers to bypass content aggregators and instead directly generate premium messaging service revenues.
