Wireless Carriers

Leading wireless carriers utilize TCS location technology and white label application services to develop and deploy compelling mobile consumer applications. TCS provides consumer-ready branded applications as well as white-label applications and services that can be branded by the wireless carrier.

Branded Applications powered by TCS

• Rand McNally Traffic and Rand McNally StreetFinder® Wireless:  provides up-to-the-minute traffic and maps and directions.  Available on AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, and many other carriers
• TeleAtlas Traffic:  provides up-to-the-minute traffic maps with real-time speed and incident data.  Available exclusively on AT&T.

White-label Applications

TCS white label applications are easily configurable to support a carrier's unique content, brand, and look-and-feel.  Applications are available for mobile devices that support J2ME, BREW, RIM, Windows Mobile, WAP, and messaging.

Content Providers

Content Providers utilize TCS’ technology and publishing services to develop and deploy their content to mobile users.  TCS provides a complete mobile solution for content providers, enabling them to focus on creating compelling content, while leveraging TCS’ mobile expertise to easily do the following:

• Quickly develop new mobile services
• Easily provide third party content to existing mobile services
• Rapidly deploy the mobile services to carriers’ devices

Application Providers

Application Providers leverage TCS’ location services to integrate maps, directions, traffic, and other third-party content into their existing applications and services.  TCS’ mapping platform provides a carrier-grade platform for developing and deploying location applications to multiple channels including mobile, Web sites, and client applications.  With the mapping platform, Application Providers can do the following:

• Quickly integrate maps and directions into existing applications
• Develop location-centric services such as What’s Near Me
• Easily integrate and distribute third-party content
• Create a consistent user experience for location services
